Author of "Fletcher's Game", which
recounts the history of modern deer farming and the trials and tribulations of establishing the first deer farm, John is currently writing a book about the history of man's relationship with deer and especially the history of deer parks now widely recognised as the forerunner of England's designed landscapes. He has contributed papers to a wide variety
of learned journals and is frequently called upon to act as an expert witness in litigation. Among many private and commercial landowners around the world, clients have included the British Royal Parks and Crown Estates, the Duke and Duchess of Argyll and the President of the United Arab Emirates. |
