The deer at Reediehill have been used in the production of many television and video commercials as well as feature films. Particularly memorable appearances have been with Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert in Highlander which necessitated the attachment of artificial antlers to a young stag, with Helen Mirren in the pivotal scene from The Queen, with Emma Thompson for Blue Boy, and in the extraordinary car crash in the film of the Rosamunde Pilcher story Summer Solstice. Most recently Reediehill deer featured in the Outlander television drama series. They have also been filmed in commercials for the Glenfiddich whisky sequence superimposed on a location in Cuba, and others for Land Rover, Shell, Aigle clothing, and many others. You can see some of these sequences on this site under Film and Media.
As a vet John Fletcher is well equipped to provide deer of either sex and all ages for use in films whether commercials or feature films.
